2010 Power of Being a Girl Conference - Saturday, January 30 at Spruce Glen Public School in Huntsville! Power of Being a Girl is a full day event for girls ages 9 to 14. The conference will give girls an opportunity to make new friends, try something new, express themselves and learn great tools for their life journey. Activities include Expressive Arts, yoga, communication skills, healthy relationships and more!!! Lunch and healthy snacks are also provided. How much does it cost? $25 per girl. Subsidies are available upon request. How do I get there? YWCA Muskoka has arranged for a shuttle bus to pick up participants at designated spots in Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Port Sydney to get them to and from conference in Huntsville. There are 46 spots on the bus so be sure to send your form in ASAP! Registration starts December 14, 2009! Visit www.ywcamuskoka.com for the registration form, print & fax it to 645-4804.
